My mother and my father do not understand why I want to quit a job well paid, with low taxes for another one with a lower pay and higher taxes
I draw an explanation.
- At the top there is an entrepreneur (a big person) who tells a civil engineer (with the pencil) how she wants a block of flat to be built.
- The civil engineer prepares a project plan
- The civil engineer shares the project plan with the headmaster of the bricklayers
- The headmaster of the bricklayers explains the project plan to the other bricklayers
- The headmaster and the bricklayers, with the supervision of the civil engineer, build a pillar with four iron rods
- At the bottom there is an entrepreneur (a big person) who tells to the wind a rough idea that she wants something to be built
- The civil engineer prepares a project plan
- One bricklayer build a narrow pillar with one iron rod
- Another bricklayer build a larger pillar by adding a second narrow pillar with one iron rod
- Another bricklayer builds the ground and the first floor. Pillars are on one side of the building only.
- Another bricklayer observes that the the first floor is tumbling down. She needs to do something!
- Another bricklayer manages to build an house with unshaped pillars, very large, with an unspecified number of iron rods. The block of flat stands, somehow.
The first job is paid 50 (or 40 or 60) with a 45% tax rate.
The second job is paid 70 with a 20% tax rate.
Which one do you prefer?
Did I mention that I cannot draw? Is it a requisite for the job?
